Coaching tiers
keep the choice simple

Offer two or three tiers that differ by what you do, not by how many features.

19 October 20262 min read

Tiers let clients pick how much of your time they want. Too many make the choice harder.

Start from your time

List what you do for a client: programme, check-ins, video review, calls. Each tier adds some of your time.

Keep to two or three

Three is about as many as a client can compare at a glance. Name each by what it includes.

Make the difference clear

  • Programme only: a plan and a log, with no regular feedback.
  • Coaching: the plan plus weekly check-ins and replies.
  • Full coaching: all of that plus video review and calls.

Price from hours

Work out the hours each tier takes, then price it. The price calculator turns hours and costs into a monthly figure.

Protect your time

Put the limits in writing: how many videos, how many calls, and when you reply.

Review twice a year

Check which tier clients pick and how long each takes. Adjust the tiers, not just the prices.

Where Trainersight fits

Trainersight shows how much each client uses. You can see whether a tier matches the time it takes.
