Coaching client agreement
what to include

A written agreement saves arguments. Take this list to a solicitor or your insurer.

18 October 20264 min read

This is a checklist, not legal advice. Have a solicitor read your final wording, and ask your insurer what they require.

What you provide

  • What the client gets: programme, reviews, messages, calls.
  • How fast you reply, in working days.
  • What you do not provide, such as medical advice.

Price and term

  • The fee and the day it is taken.
  • Whether it is monthly or a fixed term.
  • How a client cancels and how much notice you need.
  • Your refund position.

Health and risk

  • The client confirms they completed a health questionnaire.
  • The client agrees to tell you about new injuries or conditions.
  • The client trains at their own risk within your instructions.

Data

Say what personal data you hold and why. Say who sees it and how a client can ask for it back or deleted. Health answers need extra care.

Use of videos and photos

State that you will not post a client's video or photo without separate written permission.

Where Trainersight fits

Trainersight can send a client a health screening document. The agreement itself you write with a professional.
