Monthly client review
four numbers, one change

Review the month in fifteen minutes. End with one change both of you agree.

18 October 20264 min read

Weekly check-ins catch problems. A monthly review shows whether the plan is working.

Check four numbers

  • Sessions done against sessions planned.
  • The change in top sets or estimated maxes on the main lifts.
  • Average effort across the month.
  • Bodyweight or a recovery reading, if you track one.

Ask three questions

  • What went well this month?
  • What got in the way?
  • What do you want from the next four weeks?

Agree one change

Pick the single change most likely to help. A new exercise, a shorter session or a different day.

Send a summary

Write three lines the same day. Cover what the numbers showed, what you will change and the next review date.

Common questions

How often should I review online coaching clients?

Check in weekly and run a fuller review each month.

What should a monthly client review cover?

Sessions done, main lift changes, average effort and one bodyweight or recovery reading. Then agree one change.
