Your first online client
what to set up

Agree the basics in writing, keep week one easy and review at four weeks.

18 October 20264 min read

A first client teaches you your own process. Keep it simple enough to run.

Agree the basics

Settle the price, the term, what is included and how fast you reply. Put it in writing.

Collect the information

Use an onboarding questionnaire and a health questionnaire. Read them before you write anything.

Set up the tools

Pick one place for the programme, one for the log and one for messages. Fewer places means fewer lost details.

Write a small first block

Keep week one below what the client can do. Use it to learn how they respond.

Check in early

Message after the first session and again after the first week.

Review at four weeks

Look at sessions done, top sets and how the client feels. Agree one change.

Where Trainersight fits

Trainersight is built for this stage. The log, check-ins and programme live in one record per client.
