Clients cannot act on five comments. They can act on one.
Reply quickly
Feedback on yesterday's session lands better than feedback on last week's. Set a daily time to read and reply.
Lead with the data
Name the number you saw. For example, effort rose on the same load for two sessions. Then say what you will change.
Give one correction
Pick the fault that matters most. Name one fix and one cue.
Say what went well
Be specific. A top set that moved faster is worth a line. Generic praise reads as automatic.
End with a next step
Tell the client what to do next session. Ask them to report back on it.
Pick the format
- Text for a single point.
- Voice for tone or a longer explanation.
- Video for technique.
