Client accountability
without nagging

Agree what the client will do, then look at it on a fixed day.

18 October 20264 min read

Accountability means the client knows someone will look. It does not mean chasing them.

Agree the commitments

Set two or three that are clear: sessions per week, one habit and a check-in day. Write them down.

Look on a fixed day

Pick a day to review the week. Clients who know the day plan around it.

Reply to what you see

A message that names the numbers shows you looked. A generic push does not.

Ask about blockers, not blame

Say what you noticed and ask what got in the way. Offer a change to the plan if the blocker is real.

Make progress visible

Show the client their own numbers each month. People keep doing what they can see working.

Know when to ease off

If a client misses for life reasons, lower the demand for a week. Do not pile on.

Where Trainersight fits

Trainersight shows you who has not logged and what they said about it. You can reply to that client the same day.
