Choosing coaching software
in nine questions

Feature lists look the same. These nine questions show which tools fit your coaching.

Run any tool you are considering against your own clients for two weeks. Use these questions to judge it.

Your clients

  1. Can a client log a set in one or two taps? If not, they will stop logging.
  2. Does it work with no signal? Many gyms have none.
  3. Do two of your clients understand it on the first try, without you explaining?

Your coaching

  1. Can you change one session without rebuilding the block?
  2. Does it record effort for each set, or only weight and reps?
  3. Does it show you who needs attention, and why?

Your business

  1. What does it cost at 10 clients, at 30, and at 60? Check for steps in the price.
  2. Are there add-ons that you will need in month three?
  3. Can you export every client's data when you leave?

How to test it

Put three real clients on it for two weeks. Count how many sessions they log and how many questions they ask you.

Ask for the export before you commit. A tool that will not hand your data back is a cost you pay later.

Where Trainersight fits

Trainersight is built for strength coaches working with competitors, personal training clients and athletes. Sessions work offline, and effort is recorded for each set.

Register interest and you will be told when it opens. Test it against the nine questions above.
