Testimonials from clients
ask, then get permission

Ask after a result, and keep the client's words exactly as they wrote them.

19 October 20262 min read

New clients trust other clients. A testimonial only works if it is real and the client agreed to it.

Pick the moment

Ask after a good block, a personal best or a finished meet. The client is pleased and the result is fresh.

Make it easy

Send two or three open questions. For example: what were you struggling with before, and what changed?

Do not write it for them

Publish what the client wrote. Do not tidy it into something they did not say. If you shorten it, show them first.

Get permission in writing

Ask for a clear yes to using their words. Ask separately for a name, a photo or a result. A message reply is enough as a record.

Let them withdraw it

Tell the client they can ask you to remove it. Do it promptly.

Never invent one

Do not use made-up quotes or numbers. If you have no testimonials yet, say less and show your process.

Where Trainersight fits

Trainersight keeps results in one record per client. A result you mention is one you can check.
